Whether city breaks or hot beaches are you thing, here's a quick-fire list of just some of the spots perfect for last minute bookings and flights in June. June is the perfect time to cut your flight time short and head to more local destinations, enjoying the mid 20's heat and pre-summer holiday rush.

It might be small, but this colourful town proudly wears its cool-person hat all year round. Hire a bike to see the city, sip coffee by the sea, and eat at world-famous Noma. If you’re after something a little less fancy, organic street food is actually a big thing in Copenhagen! After Work – the Scandi term for happy hour officially starts at 4pm, so enjoy the HYGGE way for a refreshing city break.

Amalfi Coast

Amalfi Coast

Confetti coloured houses and ornate roof tops dominate these sheer cliffs. A trip to this romanticised spot will help you understand the legions of literature, love letters and poems this spot has helped to influence. Heading here in June, doesn’t mean quiet and peace, as travellers visit this spot of the Mediterranean from all over the world, but pre kids holidays will avoid the July and August rush. Take your best fancy walking shoes and see everything the Amalfi has to offer.

Menorca Ciutadella, Shopping in Menorca

Menorca & Mallorca

With the temperature reaching it’s late 20’s, the Balearics are a hot spot to families thanks to the short 2 hour flight time, so hit them before July term time ends! A little more low key than sister island Ibiza, these small Spanish islands are truly relaxing. Knock back some sangria, eat paella with the locals and wonder the likes of the streets of Ciutadella for the authentic-Balearic experience. The hotels aren’t amazing, however Air B&B or Villas Direct will find you some treats when it comes to where to stay. Hire a car to see these islands, and boat hop between the too.
